Work around, work around, work around !!! This is what I do when I end up creating reports that require little bit of customization and there are times when you are tired of work arounds. Come on. Give me a break. Crystal Reports product costs so much and Business Objects folks seem to be adding patches to the old code. I would suggest them to rethink about it and rewrite the whole damn thing.

Feel free to download label report templates (in .RPT format) created using Crystal Report 8.5 along with ReadMe document, which will walk you through the necessary steps to set up and modify report templates. These reports were designed using Microsoft Access and hence, you might also want to download "db1.mdb" to run these reports.Please note: Incase you are using higher versions of Crystal Reports, you might be prompted to upgrade the report template to the later version. Reports are also in formation for popular Avery® label layouts and include many other sizes for mailing, shipping and CD labeling.

An application is only as powerful as its ability to handle data in a meaningful way. Each year, application developers write hundreds of thousands of lines of code with the primary purpose of storing and retrieving data. What do application users do with this data? Many simply look at it, but a growing number of users want to do more than see the data. They want to interact with it. They want to slice and dice the data to fit their individual interests.

An application can have a beautiful user interface but if it can’t provide the information people need in the format they want, it has failed. To take this one step further, as applications become more complex, data presentation needs become more complex as well. Creating this level of reporting from scratch is a time consuming and difficult task.
