Interview Questions
Manufacturing and design engineers

Winning new business, satisfying client and regulatory demands, and managing the building, testing, documentation, and distribution of products and services in a timely and cost-effective way can be enormously challenging. But now, Adobe® Photoshop® CS3 Extended software delivers powerful new features and enhancements to help you achieve your goals.

Digital image

A digital image is a representation of a two-dimensional image as a finite set of digital values, called picture elements or pixels. The digital image contains a fixed number of rows and columns of pixels. Pixels are like little tiles holding quantized values that represent the brightness at the points of the image.[1] Typically, the pixels are stored in computer memory as a raster image or raster map, a two-dimensional array of small integers. These values are often transmitted or stored in a compressed form. Digital images can be created by a variety of input devices and techniques, such as digital cameras, scanners, coordinate-measuring machines, seismographic profiling, airborne radar, and more. They can also be synthetized from arbitrary non-image data, such as mathematical functions or three-dimensional geometric models; the latter being a major sub-area of computer graphics. The field of digital image processing is the study of algorithms for their transformation.

The Web design course is extremely practical and aims to teach you using quick, hands-on approach. At the end of the course, you undertake a real-life practice session that corresponds with every step in your training to help you create a specimen website, based on the given software you have learned.

Capsule Tutorial

I would not classify this tutorial as a "beginner's tutorial," but if you are a beginner and think the project looks cool, I encourage you to go on and do it! Just take your time and read each instruction through a couple of times.

The capsule has really 5 different components which are each critical to the outcome of this project. I mean, if you leave something out or do it radically differently from mine, your result will look different. The 6 components are

  • The main base capsule shape
  • The lower blurred white highlight
  • The upper sharp highlight
  • The darker shading around the edge of the capsule and at the top corners
  • The glow, or colored shadow, under the capsule
  • The distortion through the capsule
